✧ What is a Fanzine/Zine? ✧
A zine is a collection of art, writing, and other creative works compiled into a collection to fit a particular theme.✧ What is a this zine about? ✧
The theme of this zine is life pathways, and it is focused on Ace, Luffy and Sabo from One Piece. This zine will feature stories and artwork based in the canon-verse and will be divided into three sections:
1) childhood: ASL growing up together
2) apart: late youth/early adulthood spent apart
3) reunion: reuniting after being separated.✧ What is a side zine? What will the side zine be about? ✧
A side zine is an additional zine with a complimentary theme that is sold alongside the main zine. Ours will feature all sorts of AU stories and artwork focused on ASL.✧ Will spoilers be allowed? ✧
Yes, spoilers will be allowed.✧ Is ship content allowed? ✧
This zine will be ship free and wholly focused on the ASL trio.
Participation
✧ May I apply as a mod/contributor if I am under 18? ✧
No. All contributors must be 18+ at the time of application.✧ May I apply for multiple positions? ✧
Yes, however you will only be accepted for one position. This will allow for more creators to join the zine!✧ Can I share my work on social media? ✧
Creators may share and reproduce their works as they please, but we ask that you refrain from doing so until after all leftover sales have shipped.✧ How will the moderators communicate with creators? ✧
Contributors will be notified of their acceptance through email and will receive a link to the zine’s official discord. All check-ins, final submissions, and updates will be sent through discord, so it is required for all contributors to have and/or create a discord.✧ How will harassment be handled? ✧
The ASL Trio zine has a zero tolerance policy for harassment. If the moderation team notices instances of harassment or bullying (including the use of slurs, criticism of others for their beliefs, and general bullying), this is grounds to be removed from the zine and banned from all future projects. If other contributors are harassing you, we encourage you to speak up to one of the mods.
Finance & Production
✧ Will this zine be physical or digital? Will there be merchandise?✧
The zine will be available both digitally and physically, and bundles will offer several different physical and digital merch items.✧ Is this zine for profit or for charity? ✧
Sales permitting, the ASL zine will be for-profit. Our first priority will, of course, be paying for production and shipping of the zine and merchandise, followed by contributor bundles. Any profit on top of our in-built expenses will be divided evenly among contributors and moderators.✧ How will contributors be compensated? ✧
All contributors are guaranteed a free digital bundle including both the main and side zine, and all merchandise that can be shared digitally.Sales allowing, we will also be providing free physical contributor bundles with complimentary shipping.If we fall short financially, our next option would be to provide everyone with a physical copy of any product they contributed to free of charge.All contributors will also be provided with discount codes to ensure they can buy additional zines and merchandise at the cost of production.✧ If I would rather get the monetary equivalent of a contributor bundle than the bundle itself, will that be an option? ✧

Assuming we have leftover zines and/or merchandise available, we will be holding leftover sales and the dates will be announced through social media.
